                   DJ Craig Vincent- DJ & Mobile Disco Service                    The following Terms & Conditions are an integral part of any agreement

1. A booking is fully confirmed only when a signed/dated agreement is returned by the Client/Management within 14 days of engagement or when any agreed deposit is paid by the Client/Management within 14 days of engagement. Agreements or deposits not paid within 14 days from​ ​the​ ​engagement​ ​will​ ​render​ ​any​ ​agreement​ ​as​ ​cancelled​ ​and​ ​the​ ​Entertainer​ ​reserves​ ​the​ ​right​ ​to​ ​accept​ ​other​ ​offers​ ​of​ ​employment. 

2. Full payment by cheque or Internet banking is due 21 days prior to event, unless agreed in contract that all outstanding payments will be received​ ​on​ ​the​ ​day​ ​of​ ​arrival​​ ​prior​ ​to​ ​performance​.  

3. In the event of the Client/Management wishing to cancel a booking, any deposits/ reservation fees will be forfeited. If the Client/Management wishes to cancel the booking within 30 days of the date of the event then the full agreed fee will still be due. All cancellations must be confirmed​ ​in​ ​writing.​ ​Any​ ​cancellation​ ​must​ ​be​ ​by​ ​mutual​ ​consent​ ​only. 

4. The Entertainer is not responsible for delays in access to the venue or performing area & for any power failure beyond his/her control. If the venue is not on the ground floor, extra time may be required to set up. The Client/Management must inform the Entertainer if extra time may be needed. In the unlikely event the Entertainer is delayed from starting a performance due to events beyond the Entertainer’s control, the Client/Management​ ​is​ ​still​ ​liable​ ​for​ ​the​ ​full​ ​fee. 

5. Time is required before the event to bring equipment in, assemble and test before getting ready. Minimum of 1 hour before (ideally 2 hours) depending on access. Time is required immediately after the event to disassemble and remove equipment before leaving. Minimum of 40 minutes​ ​(ideally​ ​1​ ​hour)​ ​depending​ ​on​ ​access. 

6. A space measuring at least 2 metres wide by 2 metres deep is needed for the main working position. Additional space for speakers (one to the left and one to the right) is also needed each measuring 1 metre wide by 1 metre deep. An earthed supply of adequate electricity is always required​ ​at​ ​any​ ​venue.​ ​Generally,​ ​2x​ ​standard​ ​13Amp​ ​sockets​ ​located​ ​within​ ​5 metre's ​of​ ​the​ ​Entertainer’s​ ​setup​ ​area​ ​is​ ​suitable. 

7. The Entertainer will conduct an onsite visual inspection and risk assessment prior to performance in accordance with the Health & Safety Act 1974. 

8. Responsibility will not be accepted by the Entertainer, for damage to guests/audience or their belongings if guests/audience interferes with any of the Entertainer’s equipment; however every attempt to safeguard is assured. The Client/Management within 14 days of performance must pay​ ​all​ ​damages​ ​to​ ​any​ ​props​ ​incurred​ ​by​ ​personnel​ ​during​ ​the​ ​period​ ​of​ ​contract. 

9. Abusive behaviour or threats towards the Entertainer or the equipment / belongings from anyone including yourself, guests, venue management, venue staff or other vendors will not be tolerated. Performance may be suspended until resolved. If not resolved then the booking may be terminated with no loss to the Entertainer. The Client/Management agrees to provide assistance with providing identity and contact​ ​details​ ​of​ ​individuals​ ​involved​ ​should​ ​compensation​ ​for​ ​loss​ ​or​ ​damage​ ​to​ ​equipment,​ ​vehicle​ ​or​ ​other​ ​belongings. 

10. Where the performance is an open-air event, the Client/Management is responsible for the safeguard of the Entertainer and any equipment. The Entertainer is not responsible for the weather. The Entertainer has the right to withdraw from a performance due to weather. In this case the​ ​Client/Management​ ​is​ ​still​ ​liable​ ​to​ ​the​ ​full​ ​fee.​ ​The​ ​Entertainers​ ​decision​ ​is​ ​final. 

 

11. The​ ​Client/Management​ ​is​ ​responsible​ ​for​ ​the​ ​Entertainer‘s​ ​parking​ ​costs​ ​during​ ​the​ ​performance​ ​and​ ​whilst​ ​at​ ​the​ ​venue. 

 

12. The Entertainer will not be liable for any inconvenience or loss of revenue caused by the following: Act of God, Terrorism, Fire, Explosion, Fog, Flood, Theft or Malicious Damage, Road Traffic or Accidents or any other event caused, beyond the entertainer’s control. In these circumstances,​ ​no​ ​refund​ ​will​ ​be​ ​made.
